Megastore:	Contract signed April 27 after some hassles.
		A 512k loaner due within a month - LES.

9-track tapes:	Calcomp is being very slow on quoting spare parts cost - LES.

New keyboards:	Microswitch seems reluctant to quote costs - TED.

			    SYSTEM PROGRAMS

Operating system:  Uptime for April was 93%.

SPY:		Message to users of multiple DD channels should be initiated more
		quickly when we are saturated (it currently waits up to 5 minutes)
		- LES.

			       POLICIES

Computer time allocation:  Grumbles about early morning system maintenance led
		to a suggestion that maintenance be performed in jungle time
		(5-8pm) as much as possible.  While LES rushed off to lead a tour,
		JMC discussed computer time allocation policies and the need
		for more restraint by the music group.
